Oxide Stain Cleaner
Apply the cleaning solution to
the surface, iron stains will normally disappear within seconds depending on the
surface texture and severity of the stain.
Carefully rinse the treated area with clean water as soon as the stain is
dissolved. In extreme cases, several applications of IronKleen will be required;
agitation of the surface with a brush will often help with stubborn stain
removal.
IronKleen will, like any acidic detergent product, tend to bleach any iron
oxides used as coloring pigments. For this reason, pigmented mortars will fade
thus the entire wall will need to be treated to maintain a uniform appearance.
Alternatively keep the solution off the mortar.
HELPFUL CLEANING HINTS
Always test a small inconspicuous spot before embarking on the entire job.
Avoid over spray.
Prevent the solution from drying onto surface.
Always begin at the highest point and work down the wall.
Only clean small areas at a time, e.g. 1-3 square meters to ensure you have
adequate time to wash off the cleaning solution to ensure no drying occurs.
Allow solution to remain on wall only until stain is removed.
Rinse thoroughly, making sure that all cleaning solution has been removed.
