Our contractors had the chance to do some testing (this was 14 years ago) on a bore pump with moderately bad iron bacteria. We left the pump in the borehole and just recirculated a 5% solution of BoreSaver Ultra C for just 4 hours. Then we pulled it out for a look and very interesting! The impellors were nice and clean, but the outside of the pump still needed more time. We usually like to take 12 to 24 hours for an in hole clean.
