Just tip in lots of hydrochloric acid

Amazing down hole footage of a stainless steel screen with large holes reportedly caused by the use of raw HCL (hydrochloric acid) pored into a tremmie pipe. This is a reinjection well that is part of a large heat exchanger system at a local university. The problem they were trying to treat was iron reducing bacteria but unfortunately the "solution" did more harm than good.
