2005 in the UK we came across a water supply well with severe SOB/SRB (sulfur oxidizing & reducing bacteria). The clients had tried all the usual acids and chlorine mixtures but with no luck. The problem is this type of clogging has very low reactivity with most of the common materials including acids. Aquabiotics developed a two-stage ionic shock treatment system which enables highly effective dissolution and removal.
